One key resource used to ensure grantees are meeting program goals is the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Web-based software application. Per the SSVF Final Rule, grantees are required to enter data into this system. This data consists of information on the participants served and the types of supportive services provided by grantees. Grantees are then required to export client-level data for activities funded by the SSVF Program to the VA Repository on a monthly basis.
