There are 3 days remaining until the application submission deadline for the HMIS Capacity Building Project Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Unless you have received an extension from HUD, all applications must be submitted by Thursday, January 31, 2019 by 11:59:59 PM EST. Applications shall be submitted to Grants.gov unless a waiver has been issued allowing you to submit your application in paper form. Instructions for submitting your paper application will be contained in the waiver of electronic submission. As a reminder, “Received by Grants.gov” means the applicant received a confirmation of receipt and an application tracking number from Grants.gov. …

HUD is committed to ending homelessness and believes good, reliable information is essential to that effort. We have made a long-term investment in Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) to provide this information. HMIS has become integral to day-to-day delivery of resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, monitoring the use of federal funding, informing funding decisions, and allowing communities to develop data-driven strategies to positively impact their efforts to end homelessness.
